Sunday Mornings at FBC
Childcare is available for all children ages birth up through 2nd grade during our 8:45 Traditional Worship service.
Sunday School (9:50 – 10:50)
Ages birth ~ four years : Childcare is provided by our trained staff in the Early Childhood classrooms.
Grades K – 5: First Hour Kids Konnection Sunday School
Children's Ministry during our 11:00 am Celebrative Worship Service
All children are welcome to join their families and / or their First Hour friends for the first fifteen or twenty minutes of our 11:00 Celebrative Worship Service where they can participate in the announcements, greeting time, and gathering songs of praise with the greater FBC family. After our weekly “Children’s Story on the Steps”, the children are dismissed as a group to their Second Hour Sunday School classes. The fourth Sunday of each month is “Children’s Sunday” at FBC. Our children serve as Worship leaders and Scripture readers, and also prepare the snacks for our "Cookie Time" after the service.
Little Kids Konnection:
Ages birth – two years are cared for our in Infant/Toddler room by our paid Nursery staff.
Ages 3 & 4 participate in creative, and interactive Bible lessons in our Early Childhood room, led by members of our Children’s Ministry volunteers and staff.
Kids Konnection:
Grades K – 2 and grades 3 – 5 are in their respective age-group classes, led by members of our Children’s Ministry volunteers and staff. These classes include engaging, creative, and applicable Bible studies and lessons. A special emphasis is placed upon helping children learn to live out their faiths in ways that welcome and invite all to experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
Please note: From Father's Day through Labor Day each summer, we have one worship service only, beginning at 10:00 a.m.. Little Kids Konnection and Kids Konnection meet as normal during that service, after the "Children's Story on the Steps". For families who wish to attend the Pastor's Bible Study from 9-9:50, childcare is available beginning at 8:50 for all children up through entering grade 2.
