Some of the musicians at FBC have careers in the music field, but many more of them make music only as a act of worship.

 Rob Porter is a musician who sings on the FBC Worship Team and with the Taizé Musicians. Rob is also a poet and composer. On Easter Sunday 2010, FBC was the location of a premier of one of Rob's compositions, "Pieta". The words and melody were composed by Rob Porter; Amelia Bierly arranged this version. The musicians in this recording are Nancy McCann, guitar and vocals; Amelia Bierly, cello and David Ingram, piano.  Click on the link below to listen to "Pieta".

James LaRocca is a local composer and has recorded several of his songs at FBC and also uses Sherill Roberts and Amelia Bierly as Cellists in many of his recordings. Sherill and Amelia attend FBC.
